Eric Brocks, M.D., FACS
Dr. Eric Brocks was a founder of Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons, PC in 1972 and practices general ophthalmology, performs cataract surgery, including high-technology intra-ocular lens implants, and has specialized in refractive surgery since FDA approval in 1995, including laser vision correction and refractive lens exchange. Dr. Brocks has researched laser vision correction surgery extensively and works with the most cutting-edge equipment available and practices the most up-to-date procedures to ensure that his patients achieve the best results possible.
He holds an appointment as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and served for over 28 years as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine at its Post-Graduate Medical School. Dr. Brocks has also taught ophthalmologists about laser vision correction, certifying other physicians in the use of the Excimer laser.
Additionally, Dr. Brocks is Board Certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
