Daniel C. Brocks, M.D.
In addition to performing LASIK, cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and excellent general ophthalmic care, Dr. Brocks is one of the few ophthalmologists in New York trained in DSAEK (Descemet's Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty), a safer alternative to traditional corneal transplantation.
Dr. Brocks graduated from Tufts University, Cum Laude and received his Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the Mount Auburn Hospital at Harvard University, and his residency at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital System where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Brocks completed his fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he specialized in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive surgery.
The son of Dr. Eric Brocks, Dr. Daniel Brocks provides Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons, PC with a wealth of knowledge and experience and has been published in multiple journals and online publications. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American College of Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
